As part of The Round Table Group’s commitment to supporting impactful, community-centered events, we’re excited to announce the grand opening of our partner Sushi Song’s newest location in Palm Springs, Florida. The ‘Savor & Support!’ fundraiser on Saturday, November 16, 2024, will bring friends, family, and supporters together for an evening dedicated to helping those impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. From 5 pm to 2 am, guests can enjoy an unforgettable night filled with sushi, music, and opportunities to make a difference, with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Community Foundation Martin-St. Lucie Disaster Relief Fund.

A Night of Food, Music, and Community Spirit

Chef Song will be on-site to welcome guests, serve sushi, and share in the evening’s celebrations. Live DJs will set the atmosphere with music throughout the night while dancing, contests, and giveaways add excitement. Guests can enjoy specialty Japanese cocktails, Every Day Good Day Beer, and Sushi Song’s iconic Sake Bombs, with a celebratory midnight toast featuring BREWSAKI—widely known as Florida’s favorite sake bomb beer. Adding to the event’s impact, Muscle Vodka will match every dollar spent on hurricane-themed Muscle Vodka cocktails, amplifying the support for relief efforts.

“Every day’s a good day to give back! This isn’t just an opening night—it’s a chance to enjoy great food, connect with friends, and make a real difference for those in need,” said Chef Song. “Let’s come together, raise our glasses, and make it a night to remember!”

Show Your Support with Sushi and the Japanese Lucky Cat

Guests can further contribute by purchasing a “Maneki-Neko” Japanese Lucky Cat, proudly displayed at Sushi Song’s Palm Springs location as a symbol of generosity. All proceeds from these sales will directly support hurricane relief efforts, extending the impact of each purchase.

Uniting for a Greater Cause

Elizabeth Barbella, President & CEO of The Community Foundation Martin-St. Lucie emphasized the importance of community-driven support: “Every dollar raised through our Disaster Relief Fund goes directly to those in need, from providing essentials like food and water to assisting students and the elderly. We’re grateful to Sushi Song for bringing the community together in this time of need.”

Jason Shaw, CEO of The Round Table Group, shared his enthusiasm for the event: “We’re thrilled to see our partner Sushi Song embrace this opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Community-driven events like ‘Savor & Support’ demonstrate the power of bringing people together to support those facing hardships. We look forward to an incredible evening that truly embodies the spirit of unity.”

Gracy Sundy Gillespie, Owner of Muscle Vodka, also highlighted the event’s importance: “This is our home, and adding to donations through our product commitment is just one way we’re giving back. We’re excited to be part of this special night.”
